The Milwaukee Admirals extended their 2024 win streak Saturday afternoon on the road as they defeated the Manitoba Moose 4-0. This is the Admirals' sixteenth consecutive win. The team hasn't lost a game since December 31 and have won 19 of their last 20.
Forward Phil Tomasino was reassigned to Milwaukee on Monday. It was a decision that Predators' head coach Andrew Brunette hopes will help Tomasino improve his consistency by playing high quantity, top line minutes.
Tomasino saw those today playing on the second line with Liam Foudy and Juuso Pärssinen, another player who began the season in Nashville but was reassigned to Milwaukee in late January. Tomasino got the Admirals on the board against the Moose in the first period with a wrist shot from the circle.

Tomasino went on to score again in the third period to put the Admirals up 3-0 before Milwaukee closed out the win with a final score of 4-0.
Yaroslav Askarov earned his fourth shutout of the season and won his 12th game in a row. Ty Felhaber scored Milwaukee's other two goals.
Tomasino had seven goals and 20 points in 47 games this season in Nashville, but Brunette wants to see Tomasino improve his play away from the puck and to be a more reliable player in tight game situations. Playing top six minutes for the Admirals may give him that opportunity.
