The Miami Dolphins had one of the scariest offenses in 2023. The Dolphins bring a lot of speed to the table, including several of the league’s fastest players together on the same unit. They famously dropped 70 points on the Denver Broncos in Week 3. Miami just upgraded its wide receiver room by adding aging star Odell Beckham Jr. to the mix.

According to NFL insiders Ian Rapaport and Tom Pelissero on social media, the Miami Dolphins will sign wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. It will be a one-year deal worth up to $8.25 million.

Multiple Dolphins players immediately went to social media to praise the signing.

Tyreek Hill posted a positive tweet on Twitter/X.

Jalen Ramsey also posted an image of Ramsey and Beckham Jr. The pair were teammates on the Los Angeles Rams during the 2021 NFL Season. The Rams won the Super Bowl that year and Ramsey and Beckham Jr. were both significant factors on that team. They hope for a repeat performance in Miami.

As a result of this move, the Dolphins now have Tyreek Hill, Jaylen Waddle, and Odell Beckham Jr. as the team’s top three wide receivers. This is arguably one of the best wide receiver trios in the NFL.

The Dolphins also added a slew of talent in the 2024 NFL Draft. Miami added the speedy running back Jaylen Wright to a backfield that already boasts Raheem Mostert and De’Von Achane. The team is seriously committed to speed on offense. They also added a pair of edge rushers in Chop Robinson and Mohamed Kamara and more receiver depth with Malik Washington and Tahj Washington.

The Dolphins’ 2023 season saw the team return to the playoffs for the second time since 2017. They played a cold weather game in Kansas City and were thumped 26-7.

The Miami Dolphins will have incredibly high expectations in 2024. The addition of Odell Beckham Jr. will help solidify both the starting lineup and overall depth of Miami’s offense. As long as Tua Tagovailoa can stay healthy, and the defense can perform at even an average level, then the Dolphins will be a serious contender in the AFC East.
